The Chicago White Sox won their home opener this afternoon! Jake Peavy did a great job pitching while outfielder Dayan Viciedo homered & made an amazing catch! The Sox ending up beating the Detroit Tigers 5-2…and even tho we’re both DIE-HARD Cubs fans…congrats to the South Siders

ps…at the time of this blog, the Cubs are winning 9-0!!! lol

Rihanna has come out & admitted to having a crush on One Direction’s Harry Styles…uh-oh…lil girls are about to start hating!

She said: “Harry, yeah. I watch their videos and I remember thinking, ‘Wow, he’s a star.’ He seems very sure. It seems, like, it’s so natural to him.”

The funny thing is that Harry came back saying: “That is absolutely incredible. I’d love to hook up.” Ummmmmmmm…so would WE!!!!! lol

Brad & Angelina Engaged!

Finally, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are engaged! Angelina was seen wearing an engagement ring this past Wednesday night.

A rep for jeweler Robert Procop released a statement saying:

“Yes, Robert Procop did indeed design an engagement ring for Angelina Jolie, designed in collaboration with Brad Pitt. Brad had a specific vision for this ring, which he realized over a yearlong collaboration. He wanted every aspect of it to be perfect, so I was able to locate a diamond of the finest quality and cut it to an exact custom size and shape to suit Angelina’s hand.

Brad was always heavily involved, overseeing every aspect of the creative design evolution. The side diamonds are specially cut to encircle her finger. Each diamond is of the highest gem quality.”

Looks like Brad held out for as long as he could!!! lol

Kanye Kardashian?

Kanye West is set to appear on Keeping Up With The Kardashians. He will be in several of the upcoming episodes with his girlfriend Kim Kardashian.

According to a source:

“Kanye is head over heels in love with Kim, and he has told her he would love to appear on the reality show if she wants him to. Kim is a bit leery of having her man appear on camera because of the whole fiasco with her soon-to-be-ex-husband, Kris Humphries, but watch for Kanye to make several appearances on the show towards the end of the season. Viewers won’t see him featured in the first part of the season, and it won’t be all about Kanye.”

The new season will air on May 20th but, Kanye won’t appear on the show until some of the later episodes. We can’t wait to see Kanye on the show!!

Ex-White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen told Time Magazine that he loves Fidel Castro! Also, he highly respects him for staying in power in Cuba for so long…ummmmmm…WHAT?!?!?!

The Miami Marlins (his new team) quickly released a statement calling Castro:
“a brutal dictator who has caused unthinkable pain for more than 50 years.”

Ohhhhhh Ozzie…when will you learn to just STOP talking & only focus on baseball??? lol

Mark Zuckerberg announced today that, Facebook is buying the photo sharing company Instagram for $1 BILLION dollars…WOW!!! He released a statement today saying:

“This is an important milestone for Facebook because it’s the first time we’ve ever acquired a product and company with so many users. We don’t plan on doing many more of these, if any at all. But providing the best photo sharing experience is one reason why so many people love Facebook and we knew it would be worth bringing these two companies together.”

The Situation Is Free!

Mike aka “The Situation” from Jersey Shore is officially out of rehab! He was getting help with his addiction to prescription pills.

He released statement saying:
“Hey Everyone! The Situation is home!!! I just want to thank everyone for their support and words encouragement. I’m back stronger and better than ever!”

A new cleaned up Mike may hurt his career tremendously. He used to charge over $25,000 per event. Clubs may no longer hire him to make appearances and it’s likely that he could lose lots of money.

We are happy that he received the help he needed. Hopefully, he stays clean and doesn’t go back to his old ways…but we seriously doubt it! lol

Kanye Disses Kris Humphries!

Our boy Kanye West is dating Kim Kardashian! Kanye is saying that he fell in love with Kim but her ex-husband Kris Humphries ended up getting in the way. He has a brand new song called “Theraflu” in which he basically disses Kris Humphries. lol

In his newest song he says:
“And I’ll admit, I had fell in love with Kim / Around the time she had fell in love with him / Well that’s cool, baby girl, do your thing / Lucky I ain’t had Jay drop him from the team”.

That last part was a dig that he coulda had his boy Jay-Z drop Kris from the New Jersey Nets cuz he’s part owner…OUCH!!!

Whitney Houston was making a big comeback in an upcoming musical movie with Jordin Sparks & Ceelo Green. The movie is called “Sparkle” & it will still hit theaters on August 17th.
