“Full House” Creator Jeff Franklin Planning To Open House Up To The Public

If you’ve been to San Francisco lately, you probably noticed something nostalgic about the Full House house – it’s back to being white with an iconic red door.

Jeff Franklin, the creator of the series, purchased the house for $4.15 million dollars a few months ago.

He has since renovated the outside so that it looks exactly like it did when the series was in its prime.

But here’s even better news, he plans to preserve the home for fans!

Franklin told The Hollywood Reporter that he will redecorate the place to make it look like the Tanner’s really live there.

Welcome home! Watch #FullerHouse premiering Feb. 26th only on @netflix ! We are so excited for you to join our family.

Here’s the best part – if Netflix green lights a third season of the spinoff Fuller House, he wants to shoot the show inside the actual home. (Season 2 of Fuller House premieres Dec. 9th.)

“We would take advantage of the fact that I now own the house, and we could go up there and shoot some new footage and maybe bring the cast up and shoot with them up there,” he said.

The show is also approaching its 30th anniversary, so to celebrate, Franklin wants to host a “big slumber party” for the characters, which would allow fans to come by and meet them!

Then, the house will become a museum that’s open to the public with a possibility of it being rented out.

How cool would it be to actually stay in the Tanner house for a night?? Expensive, but SO WORTH IT.

Here’s a pic my friends and I took in front of the house over the weekend:
