42 Stores That Won’t Be Open On Thanksgiving

Following in the footsteps of the Mall of America, dozens of retailers announced that they would not be open for Thanksgiving.

In recent years, stores have been opening earlier and earlier on Thanksgiving to beat out the competition.

That had lead to some debates whether stores should actually stay closed to allow employees time with family.

This year, it seems that many are choosing to close up shop on Thanksgiving and focus more on Black Friday, the biggest sale day of the year.
