If you weren’t aware, Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint on Sunday in Paris by two men dressed as police officers.
Some were worried about Kim’s well-being, others called the story “bluff.”
New details are emerging from French authorities who say that it was an inside job.
TMZ reports that the police say there is no surveillance footage of the incident.
Kim’s high-class private property surprisingly did NOT have cameras inside or outside.
Furthermore, they think someone close to Kim helped the robbers get away with the heist.
“Detectives are satisfied that the robbers could have easily tricked their way into Kardashian’s apartment block, [but] it is not clear how they got into her actual flat,” the insider told US. “The baffling part of the inquiry is how the robbers got into the apartment. Of course it’s possible they tricked their way in, but at that time of the [early morning] it’s unclear who actually opened the door.”
The investigator source also added, “She would never open the door in the middle of the night in these circumstances, so who did if it wasn’t opened with a key? There were no signs of forced entry, but there’s also no proof that a key was used.”
Previously, reports indicated that the thieves attacked a male concierge and forced him to open a door to Kim’s room.
The attackers then reportedly bound and gagged her before locking her in the bathroom.
“They put plastic ties around her wrists but she managed to squeeze her hands out of the wrist ties by wriggling her hands,” a source told People!
“She was hysterical but not screaming as she knew she had to keep quiet to survive,” the source added.
Other sourcs say once she was free, she ran to the balcony and screamed for help.
Her friend and former stylist Simone Harouche apparently heard her from the downstairs bathroom she locked herself in duo to the commotion.
She sent a text to Kim’s bodyguard, who rushed to the hotel to meet them.
The suspects, who stole about 10 million dollars worth of jewelry, are still at large.
