Cards for Hospitalized Kids is a locally started organization that knows first hand what it feels like to be stuck in a hospital bed for months at a time ~ missing your room, your friends, family, school and normal life. So founder Jen Rubino put this together with the idea of spreading happiness, inspiration and reminding the sick that someone cares and is fighting for them even when they don’t feel they can anymore 🙂
Since it’s start in 2011, over 100,00 kids in over 50 states have received homemade cards! Even getting some celeb attention/card makers like: Lauren Conrad, Lucy Hale, Cody Simpson, Olympic gold medal winner Ally Raisman and more!
Sounds fun right? We thought so…and it was an excuse to get down with some markers and crayons!
ALL the DJ’s at B96 got together and as a group made 27 homemade cards! Check it out:
We had so much fun doing this! You can do it in a group like us, by yourself, or with your friends!
Ours will make it just in time for Halloween 🙂
So proud that Team B96 helped out such an awesome cause!
