The video for Tegan and Sara’s “Stop Desire” is here and it depicts flirtation in a variety of settings: the laundromat, the post office, and more. The retro art direction, smooth color palette and provocative imagery bring lyrics about yearning for connection to life.
The pair said it’s a video about “finding sensuality in everyday things.”
“We wanted to marry the high-energy and colorful vibe of ‘Stop Desire”s production with the longing sexual undertones of the song’s lyrics,” they explained in a Facebook post.
