Taylor Swift Facetimes With Dying Fan, Donates Money To Another Fan’s Funeral

Taylor Swift is a pop star that really cares about her fans.

The singer recently donated $5,000 to the funeral costs of Katie Beth Carter.

The teen’s family set up a GoFundMe page after the 18-year-old died in a car accident over Labor Day weekend.

Without telling Katie’s sister, a friend emailed Taylor’s agent to see if she could reach out to the family.

Taylor got wind of it and pitched in for the medical expenses and funeral arrangements.

“No words could express how sorry I am for your loss,” Swift said. “I know that you will keep Katie’s memory alive. Please know how much I am thinking of you and saying a prayer for your family. All my love, Taylor.”

Katie’s sister responded writing, “this…… I cannot believe this at all….. thank you so much, Taylor,” she captioned the photo. “me and my sister are smiling so hard…@taylorswift.”

Adding to her busy week, Taylor also granted another fan one last wish.

Cincinnati police sergeant Dan Hils’ daughter Meghan is dying from a congenital heart defect.

Taylor was contacted through the Dream Foundation and reached out to Meghan, who initially didn’t think the call would be possible because of Taylor’s hectic schedule.

The two chatted for about half an hour on FaceTime but the details of the convo will remain private.

“The words thank you will never be enough to say to Taylor Alison Swift for this day & taking the time to video chat with me for 29 minutes on September 8th, 2016,” she wrote. “Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Taylor.”
