Warner Bros. Reportedly Wants To Put Out 3 More “Harry Potter” Movies

This is a no brainer but Warner Bros. wants to capitalize on the success of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

For now it is only a play in London,  but it seems like Warner wants to turn it into a movie… a trilogy in fact. (Because Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them just isn’t enough for them!)

The New York Daily News reports that the studio wants to make three more movies in the franchise, focusing Albus Severus Potter’s adventures.

That comes as no surprise since about a month ago we reported that the studio filed a trademark for The Cursed Child.

Of course, Warner just like the rest of the world, can’t imagine ANYONE else playing Harry except for well, Daniel Radcliffe, the OG Harry.

Only problem – Radcliffe has pretty much said he’s done with Harry… at least for now.

“It would depend on the script. The circumstances would have to be pretty extraordinary. But then I am sure Harrison Ford said that with Han Solo, and look what happened there! So I am saying no for now, but leaving room to backtrack in the future,” he told the Radio Times.

And EVEN if they do get him, there’s another problem and her name is J.K Rowling.

Rowling said that she’s completely done writing anymore Harry Potter stories and that the Cursed Child will NOT become a movie.

But really, would she pass up the opportunity if offered and the circumstances were right?

You don’t want to ruin a good thing but clearly, there could be much more story to tell… and well, this could be the start of something incredible – a part 2 if you will to entice yet another generation into the wizarding world.
