Cubs Player Anthony Rizzo Sends Letter, Donation To Young Boy Battling Leukemia

Chicago Cubs star Anthony Rizzo wrote a nice letter to a young boy suffering from Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

The first caught the attention of Rizzo after they started a Facebook page for their son Parker Hopkins.

Rizzo, who also battled cancer at the age of 18, decided to write the boy a letter.

In addition, he donated $2500 to help his family “through this difficult time.”

 

 

The family spoke with CBS Chicago and say they are “forever grateful.”
