Ryan Lochte and a few other US Olympic swimmers are in some hot water.
The swimmers reportedly lied about being robbed at gunpoint in order to cover up a brawl they had at a gas station with a security guard.
Authorities in Brazil have a video recording of Lochte, Jack Conger, Gunnar Bentz and Jimmy Feigen fighting a rent-a-cop.
“One of the swimmers was seen on CCTV footage breaking down the door to the bathroom at the gas station and fighting with a security guard” a Brazilian official told ABC News.
The drunk swimmers first told the Olympic committee that they were robbed by men posing as police officers while taking a taxi home from a party.
Shortly after their allegations, Brazilian law enforcement found holes in their story and removed two of the swimmers, Conger and Bentz, from a US bound flight for questioning.
A judge in Brazil ordered Lochte and Feign to stay in the country while the investigation was underway but Lochte was already on American soil. Both of their passports were seized.
The US State Department urged all swimmers to cooperate with Brazilian officials.
