The new host of The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon, was apparently joking around about Chicago’s Mayor Rahm Emanuel while doing his media tour for his opening week as the show’s new host.

Fallon is reported to have said that Mayor Emanuel could appear on his show whenever he wanted, “All he has to do is make a phone call…He can host if he wants to. I’m scared of that guy!”.

The Mayor tweeted about Jimmy Fallon’s comments in response,

Oh snap! We’re still waiting for the funny Tonight Show host to respond, but the Polar Plunge takes place the first weekend in March every year (while the water is still frigid), and is held to raise money for the Special Olympics. Now that would be entertaining to see Jimmy Fallon take place in!
