This year’s NBA All-Star game featured Ne-Yo as the introductory performer, and he didn’t wow the audience like everyone expected. In fact, there were many negative responses spreading online during his singing and afterward. He opened with love songs before the player announcements, and resumed with two of his higher energy hits “Let’s Go” and “Let Me Love You.”

Instead of just letting his “haters hate,” Ne-Yo decided to defend himself on Twitter.

After he was finished he tweeted, “Shout out to those showing love. Everybody has an off day….all good. F— any and all haters. Talk it while I live it bitches!!!”

Of course this fueled the Twitter fire, and fans responded with a variety of opinions.

What did you think of Ne-Yo’s performance?
