Teachers, bored kids off of school & parents – this is perfect thing to do this long Columbus Day weekend! Even the B96 On-Air staff did it! It’s called Cards for Hospitalized Kids and it’s FUN, something you can do alone or in a group, and most importantly it’s for a GREAT cause!
Cards for Hospitalized Kids is an organization that gets cards to sick children not just in the area, but nationally. If you know someone in the hosptial you can even nominate them to get one.
We had a BLAST doing it and all had a good excuse to use glue sticks, construction paper, glitter & more 😉 The best part is, all the fabulous hard work and personalization that was made in to each card will brighten up the day of a sick child in the hospital (some terminal) who maybe is missing their friends, school, or even Halloween.

While every cause may not tug at your heart strings, or you may not enjoy some of the activities some need help with – always remember there is something for EVERYONE and that it’s cool to help out and give back when you can – just like we did!
PS – Let us know if you make some cards! We’d love to see them 😉
