Alecia Moore, better known as P!nk, stopped by B96 to chat with J, Julian and Showbiz Shelly about her new album The Truth About Love, her new single “Blow Me One Last Kiss,” her baby girl Willow Sage Hart, and her thoughts on 50 Shades of Grey. She also revealed the official cover art for her album earlier today. (Did you know that B96 was the first station to play her debut single “There You Go”?)

Now that P!nk’s daughter Willow is one year old, she’s starting to show a lot more of her personality. What’s the funniest thing that the one-year-old has done in the past month? “She’s just a crack-up,” P!nk said. “She gets the joke. I said to my friend the other day, ‘She’s really funny.’ And my friend was like, ‘Oh honey, she’s gonna need to be.’”

P!nk loves being a mom, and shared, “The interesting thing right now is I’m teaching her how to share, and I take her to this kidnasium class where she climbs all over stuff. She’s definitely Carey Hart’s daughter because she likes to be high and fall and go upside down. She’ll try to give you a toy, and if you don’t take it, she’ll bash you over the head with it.”

What’s the most surprising thing about motherhood so far? “You’re worried. How’s my life going to be? Is it going to work? Am I going to be awful? And it’s just really natural and the coolest thing I’ve ever done,” P!nk explained.

Does P!nk get any alone time with Carey now that she’s a mom? “At 7:30, once she’s asleep, the wine bottle opens, and we’ve got a certain amount of time until she wakes up again.”

Was it hard to lose the baby weight? “I’m still going. I’ve never been nicer to myself in my life. Honestly, I look at Willow, and I’m like ‘Who cares?’ I would have 16 of you and gain 16 times the amount of weight. I don’t care. I let everyone else worry about the silly stuff.”

P!nk and Showbiz Shelly definitely have one thing in common; they are obsessed with 50 Shades Of Grey. “I was hearing so much about it, and I just needed to understand. I’m on the third one. I’ve read him (Carey) parts. Every girl wants to be tied up,” Pink admitted.

P!nk performed an acoustic version of “Perfect” for her fans after her interview.

She also sang an acoustic version of “Who Knew.”

Pink’s new album The Truth About Love drops September 12th. She already released “Blow Me One Last Kiss,” and just shared the cover art.
