The new season of X-Factor hasn’t even started yet and there have been rumors already of Britney Spears walking off set, she and Demi Lovato not getting along – but it was THIS that actually shut the show down!

While having audition in Greensboro, North Carolina, the set was struck by lightening!

No one was hurt, but the lightening hit a production truck knocking out all the power ( leaving them with no: lights, mics, cameras, etc)

The cast and crew was shaken (literally and figuratively for good reason) and because of this auditions will be suspended INDEFINITELY!

According to sources, the crew will try to wait out the weather, but if it doesn’t clear up they will have to keep moving to stay on schedule meaning the Greensboro contestants may not get to perform for the judges!

I can’t imagine the show being so heartless that those contestants wouldn’t get another opportunity since it was due to an issue beyond anyone’s power…but speaking of….I would take that as a GIANT sign from Mother Nature to shutdown the show all together!
