B96 Mornings’ Julian caught up with Amy Born, Mike and Ike‘s talent agent and lifelong friend. Amy talks about how shocked she was when Mike & Ike split to go on separate paths, rather than continuing to create amazing candy. Mike has always been interested in music, and Ike’s always been into art. She had no idea that they would go their separate ways.

Mike just finished his first music video, “Strawberry or Die,” while Ike has been creating fruit-inspired art and collecting art as well. They have both been spirited all along, and after a while they decided to see if they could make it on their own.
