With rumors flying about Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez breaking-up, him showing up with a date to the Billboard Music Awards that WASN’T her didn’t help!

So who was this girl?!

According to Justin, 18-year-old Cady Eimer, his “date” for the night, was a fan who asked him to her senior prom!

Justin said:

I couldn’t make it to prom so I said I need you to fly to the Billboard Awards and you can be my date. She’s a big fan and I thought it would be fun.

While it may seem scandalous, it didn’t appear to be a romantic evening ~ especially since Cady’s sister was with them.

He says he forgot to get her a corsage (like you would a prom date) but he paid for her and her sis to meet him in Vegas so I think she forgave him! Ha!
