New mama[lastfm link_type="artist_info"] Beyonce[/lastfm] was in Atlanta yesterday for her first interview ( with CNN) since having her daughter Blue Ivy.

And it’s a no-brainer that her normal security would be  beefed up to protect her and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Jay-Z’s [/lastfm]precious cargo, but just wait til you find out HOW serious they were about keeping her safe!

Beyonce and baby Blue arrived on the sneak at 4:30am at CNN studios in a Merecedes van which doesn’t seem unreasonable right?

Well it doesn’t stop there!

Similar to the President’s Cavalcade, B&B’s van had 2 Escalades in-front AND behind them!

And it’s still not done!

Not counting the driver’s for all the vehicles, they also had 5 guards with one armed with an automatic weapon (a freakin machine gun!!)

I’m sure there’s a big price tag on who will have the first pic of the baby, and we all have seen paparazzi get in people’s faces – but is ALL THAT necessary?

Do you think Jay-Z and Beyonce are being over-the-top?

Word to the wise, paparazzi or not, steer clear of Blue Ivy – you could get capped for getting too close! Literally!
