The school musical West Side Story was a success, but now the rivalry heats up between McKinley High’s competing glee clubs. On this week’s “Mash Off” episode, rival coach Shelby Corcoran (played by guest star Idina Menzel) has her Trouble Tones face off against the New Directions in a mash-up singing competition. Look for the cast to tackle creative takes on songs by [lastfm]Adele[/lastfm] (“Rumor Has It”/”Someone Like You”) and [lastfm]Lady Gaga[/lastfm] (“You And I”). Plus watch as Sue Sylvester initiates a smear campaign against her opponent in her Congressional race.
