YouTube Sensation Karmin Want To Crash Your Party With First SingleKarminIf you don’t know the name Karmin yet, you will soon. You might remember the bubbly duo from their string of YouTube cover videos. Their covers of [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Chris Brown[/lastfm]‘s “Look At Me Now,” [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Lil Wayne[/lastfm]‘s “6 Foot 7 Foot” and more had everyone on the Internet buzzing. Now they’re out to dominate the music scene with their debut single “Crash Your Party.” If you were a fan of their viral videos then this original track is right up your alley.

To think, the “Look At Me Now” cover almost never happened. The idea was suggested by their manager. Although it seemed like an odd choice, the group went along with it. Good thing they took their manager’s advice. The success of the duo’s YouTube videos landed them a record deal with Epic records just a few months later.

Now they’re unleashing “Crash Your Party” – The ultimate pop meets hip-hop track. Lead singer Amy Heidemann showcases her powerful vocals and the rhyming skills that put Karmin on the map. The track is given a swag boost by sampling [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Black Sheep[/lastfm]‘s 1991 single “The Choice Is Yours.” Remember that hip-hop classic?
