As only Gaga can do, shock and surprise was brought on to 2010′s Lollapalooza festival by banging, grinding, and diving during [lastfm]Semi-Precious Weapons[/lastfm]‘ set. Amidst the heat and the crowds, she stood on the side of the stage while the band performed, then decided she wanted to be a part of the action. Clad in standard risque-level Gaga-wear in the form of a fishnet body suit, the festival’s biggest pop force started grinding with SPW frontman Justin Tranter, bashing and smashing a cymbal on stage, and finally flinging herself into the unsuspecting crowd, being lifted and grabbed all the while.

Video evidence proves she had a good time, and the fans did as well. You go, Gaga.

People attending Lolla in 2007 may (or may not) remember a younger, fresh-faced Gaga playing a side stage (video below) only she appeared at last year’s festival older, wiser, and a helluva lot different looking.
