Waka Flocka Flame has been chosen to star in its latest photo campaign for the animal rights organization PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals).
Flame (real name: Juaquin Malphurs) will star in PETA’s “Inks, Not Minks” campaign, which previously featured actress Taraji P. Henderson in nude photographs. Flame will also join a roster of celebrities to appear in the latest PETA campaign including Pink, Lady Gaga, Mariah Carey, and Chad Ochocinco.
The Atlanta rapper said of his stance on fur and leather in a a statement: “Animals should be treated the same as you would a kid. Would you want someone just to walk up and skin your kid? Hell no!”
The “Inks, Not Minks” campaign will debut in Los Angeles on February 22.
